10th Grade:

Autumn:

Take PSAT
Join additional clubs/sports/activities and begin volunteering (ongoing)
Review National Honor Society or other graduation and honors requirements

Winter:
Review GPA & PSAT Scores
Complete the “Sophomore Year: Going to College: Part 1” chat (See Student Resources/College Surveys)
Contact SAT/ACT Tutor and commence tutoring 

Spring:
Review GPA
Select Junior Year courses based on the results of your “Sophomore Year: Going to College: Part 1” chat
Consider SAT II Math 1C (Discuss with counselor. Math class dependent)

Summer:
Complete the “Rising Junior: Going to College – Setting Goals: Part 1” chat
Continue SAT/ACT Tutoring

11th Grade:

Autumn:
Continue involvement in clubs/sports/activities/volunteering (ongoing)
October SAT or ACT

Winter:
Continue Test Prep
January SAT or February ACT
Complete the “Junior Year College Research: Identifying Interests – Part 2” survey

Spring:
Select Senior Year courses based on GPA and results of “Junior Year College Research: Setting Goals and Identifying Interests – Part 1”
Complete the “Junior Year College Research: Targeting Schools – Part 3” spreadsheet
Visit colleges as convenient
May AP Exams
May SAT II (Suggested for students taking not taking AP exams)
June SAT II (Suggested for students taking AP exams)

Summer:
Visit colleges as convenient
Complete “The Road to Applications” survey and  the “College Research Template”
Study for outstanding SAT II exams
Commence  Early Decision/Action applications
